2. Documenting Applications with gsBase
|

One of the more cumbersome tasks when designing applications
is to create the documentation of functionality or support.
It is usual after creating the application, to design a separate
document compiled from a new detailed review of application.
gsBase included by default the treatment of that document for
user's query from your applications.
gsBase(ie) includes a new functionality for
documenting applications. Is a structured task, easy, and it
is done in a logical way when you are designing the "windows
of the application". In the associated video you can see an
example. Using this new method the help file will become obsolete
progressively.

The gsBase Technical Manual is
included with the Development Kit. It describes
all the technical features of the system and how working to design applications.

4. Web
and gsBase Server interaction
|
|

Access to E-commerce by normal
Web, 1024x768 windows. You can see how a Web site interacts with a gsBase server in real time. Once carried
out, orders are on-line integrated to the gsBase server, so the stock
availability is real and those documents shown by the Web are captured from
the server; the example user's financial situation is also real. If you
access our Commercial, Warehouse and Treasury Management application gsges
by our demo server, you will be able to check your order status (Client
Orders section) and verify your processes on the Web. As Remarks, those
orders will include: ‘Web- generated order’.

Access to e-Commerce by PDA,
colours and sizes are limited, but you will see them as usually on a PDA.
The abovementioned indication is applicable. In both cases the web design
is not very attractive, but the important point here is to show the
operating principle.
